OUR HISTORY

2015

NGN launched in January 2015. Founded by CEO of SR Productions, Shaveela Raniga and Vice President, Kerby Garcia.  Shaveela and Kerby took a courageous and timely stand fighting for our youth to provide more opportunities in developing and strengthening art programs by capturing youth in-action through athletics and various forms of performing and visual arts.  Without the visionary work of these two local heroes, art in the Bay Area might be the exclusive reserve of the elite and the privileged.

This duo serves as Creative Directors and has been instrumental in establishing the foundation for NGN. As youth developers, we have combined 20 years of experience and dedication working in underserved communities from East Bay, CA to Philadelphia, PA.  Our goals are to empower and educate youth through multimedia outlets, in order to redirect youth from street violence, teen pregnancy, and low achieving grades.  These two pioneers understand that providing extra-curricular programs in arts provides opportunities to the next generation.
